COMMITTEE MEETING. The finance committee of tbo Patangata County Council met at Kaikora yesterday Present: —Messrs W. White (ohairmao), and G.H. Saxby, The pay-sheet, amounting to £2594 16s 7d, wao passed for payment. The following tenders were dealt with : No 9/97 Delivery of 250 yards metal at Wallingford —R Hall 11a 4d (accepted), J Forsyth 12a, H Hickey 12s. No 10/97— Delivery of 900 yards metal at Crosse’s Hill, Porangahau.—J Forsyth, quarry metal 4b Bd, river metal Is 2d (ac cepted), R Hall, quarry metal 4s lOd, river metal 1b 3d, H Hbkey, quarry metal 5s 6d, river metal Is 3d.
