Not to be Tripled With. (From Cincinnati Gazette ) —Will people never learn that a “ cold” is an accident to be dreaded, and that when it occurs treatment should be promptly applied ? There is no knowing where the trouble will end; and while complete recovery is the rule, the exceptions are terribly frequent, thousands upon thousands of fatal illnesses occur every year ushered in by a little injudicious exposure and seemingly trilling symptoms. Beyond this, there are to-day countless invalids who can trace their complaints to “ colds,” which at the time of occurrence gave no concern, and were therefore neglected.— When troubled with a cold use Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy. It is prompt and effectual. For sale by P. Barrie Waiukurau, and G. Clark Kaikora. 182 Those who are short of breath—whether Cylists, Athletes, or Footballers—would do well to always keep a bottle of Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure for Coughs and Colds by them. After severe exertion, when the pores of the skin are open, particular susceptibility, to cold exists ; you can get it at your Grocers or Chemists, at Is 6d and 2s 6d, it will be found an unfailing remedy. All last winter Mr Geo. A. Mills, of Lebanon, Conn., was badly afflicted with rheumatism. At times it was so severe that he could not stand up straight, but was drawn over on one side. “I tried different remedies without receiving relief,” he says, “until about six months ago I bought a bottle of Chamberlain’s Pain Balm. After using it for three days my rheumatism was gone and has not returned since.” For sale by P. Barrie, Waipukurau, and G. Clark, Kaikora. 182 Simon S. Hartman, of Tunnelton, West Va., has been subject to attacks of colic about once a year, and would have to call a doctor and then suffer for about twelve hours as much as some do when they die. He was taken recently just the same as at other times, and concluded to try Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. He says : “I took one dose of it and it gave me relief in five minutes. That is more than anything else has ever done for me.” For sale by P. Barrie Waipukurau, and G. Clark Kaikora. 182 Certainly the best medicine known is Sander and Sons’ Eucalypti Extract. Test its eminently powerful effects in coughs, colds, influenza; the relief is instantaneous. In serious cases, and accidents of all kinds—be they wounds, burns, scalding, bruises, sprains, it is the safest remedy—no swelling —no inflammation.
