We are having a very fair season so far if it only continues so. Sheep are looking very well, although there is not an abun dant supply of feed on account of settlers having to keep more stock than usual, it having been very hard to dispose of sheep in this district last season, as buyers were very scarce and prices low. In spite of bad times Ashley Clinton is going ahead Blowly. A butcher has started in the district and also a blackemitb, and both I hear arc doing fairly well. I believe there is also a football club about to be started, as there was a meeting called for that purpose a few nights ago and the
