(Per Press Association) New Plymouth, This day A board painted green with “ Isabella” cut into tho wood and part of the letter “ A,” was picked up on Sunday on the beach at the mouth of the Waiongona river. The board was evidently part of the schooner Isabella Anderson, which left Kaipara on July 14th for Dunodin. The Croydon Lass while leaving the Waitara river j 7 esterday grounded on the north bank, where she now lies. Heavy seas were running at the time. She is expected to float off this afternoon. The ketch Elsie, bound from Ngunguru to the Thames with coal, was driven ashore at Tutaka during the gale, and is breaking up. The crow were saved. The vessel is owned by Mr C. B Stone.
