Criminal Sessions.
(Per Prksß Association.) New Plymuuth, This day At the Supreme Court Corkin pleaded guilty to a charge of horse stealing, and he was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. Wm. F. Sealey was found guilty of cattlestealing, and sentence was deferred. Albert Young, Murdoch M'Lcan, and John M‘Lean pleaded guilty to cattle stealiug. Sentence was deferred. Robert C. Adams, charged with forging a cheque at Normaaby, was acquitted without the jury leaving the box. Four witnesses said accused was the man who passed the cheque. For the defence a farmer near Leviu, 100 miles from Normanby, said accused had been living with him since May, aud he had never been away a day until he was arrested.
