Metropolitan Rules will be strictly adhered to. Stakes paid in full. “ Hack” shall mean for events 1,3, and 5, horses that have never won an advertised race exceeding £4O ; and for events 2,4, 6, and 8, for horses that have never won an advertised race exceeding £2O in value. NOMINATIONS for events 1,2, 3,4, 5, and 8, close with the Secretary, at Herbertville, on Thursday, November 16th, at 7 pm, and for events 6 and 7 with the Secretary, at the same hour and place on Saturday, December 9th. WEIGHTS appear on Tuesday, November 28th. ACCEPTANCES close with the Secretary, at Herberville, on Saturday, December 9th. Nominations and Acceptances and notice of non acceptance received by telegram ; office closes at 5 pm. Names of horses and colors of the tiders, together with full performances and pedigree of horses entered must be given at time of nomination.
