Death of an Old Settler.
(Per Press Association) Manaia, This day George Glenn, one of the oldest and most respected residents on the plains, died this morning from the effects of a shock t,o his system caused by the death of an old friend, and also from a cold. Deceased was very widely known, having been a member of the local bodies for years. He was formerly in commercial partnership with his brother in Grey mouth.
