Running for The Money.
An Irishman having accidently broken a pane of glass in a window, was making the best of his way out of sight ; but unfortunately for Pat, the proprietor stole a march on him, and having seized him l>y the collar exclaimed : “ You broke my window, fellow did you not ?” “To be sure I did,” said Pat, “ and didn’t you see me running homo for the money to pay for it ?”
