Holland, the newly appointed Secretary of State for the Colonies, formally received the Agent-Geueral at the Colonial Office on Monday. PARIS. January 13. The Chamber of Deputies resumed sitting to-day, when Mons. Floquet was re-elected president. The speech on the occasion alluded to the army affairs as a national institution, and said that all parties were agreed to be at any sacrifice to strengthen and secure respect to France, which was essential to peace. SOFIA, January 13. The currency of the Russian rouble in Bulgaria has been forbidden by the Regency.
