Races inn under the New Zealand Metropolitan Club’s “ Rules of Racing.” Throe horses to start or only half the money advertised will bo given. All the races at this meeting are conlined to hacks only. Horses winning a race and starting for another will carry a penalty of 71bs. All horses entered for the District Race must be the bona fide, property for three months previous to the race day, of persons residing in the North Ruatuniwhn District for a like period. Horses that have won over .-£ls in one stake are debarred from entering for the Hurdle Race and Hampden Stakes. As regards all the other races, no horse shall bo allowed to enter for them that has won over .£lO in one stake. Protests must i>o lodged with the secretary within 15 minutes after the race to which it refers, accompanied by a fee of 1 sov. J.
