Races run under the New Zealand Metropolitan Club’s “ Rules of Racing.” Three horses to start or only half the money advertised will be given. All the races at this meeting are conlined to hacks only. Horses winning a race and starting for another will carry a penalty of Tibs. All horses entered for the District Race must bo the bona file property for three months previous to the race day, of persons residing in the North Ruutauiwha District for a like period. Horses that have won over £ls in one slake arc debarred from entering for (ho Jlurdle Race and Hampden Stakes. As regards all the other nccs, no horse shall be allowed to enter for them that has won over £lO in one stake. N OTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of UlO Patangata < ’onnty Council to apply to the Colonial Treasurer under the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans and Government Loans to Local Bodies Acts, IKBG, for a loan of £SOOO (live thousand pounds), for the purpose of erecting a Bridge over the Tuki Tuki River at Tamumu.
