Wednesdat, December 12. (Before Captain Preece, R.M.) BREACH OF RAILWAY BY-LAWS. Herika, a native, was charged by .e police with being drunk and disrderly at the railway station, Takapau, n 14th ulfc. Nathaniel Grymer was put forward harged with the larceny of some nives and silver spoons at the Makatoku Hotel on 10th inst. Prisoner pleaded guilty, but said he was drunk at the time, otherwise :he robbery would not have been committed. Sentenced to be imprisoned in Napier gaol for 14 days, with hard labor. civil cases. Petersen and Olsen v. Thorensen, claim of £9 13s 5d on a judgment summons. Defendant was ordered to pay the amount claimed, with costs 12s, on or before Ist January, in default, to be imprisoned for 21 days in Napier gaol. George James v. A. Lycett, claim of £l6 13s, for wages. Mr Guy for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs £1 Is, witness’s expenses 18s, and solicitor’s fee £1 Is.

Hector McKenzie v. D. Carmichael, claim of £lO 8s on a judgment summons. Mr Guy for plaintiff. Ordered to pay off amount claimed, with costs 178 and witness’s expenses £1 10s, at the rate of £2 per mouth, first instalment to become duo on Ist January. In default of any payment, to be imprisoned in Napier gaol for one month.

Rasmussen v. Blick, claim of £29 0s Id for goods sold and delivered. Mr Guy for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs £1 15s, witness’s expenses 10s, and solicitor’s fee £1 Is.
