CONSOLATION HANDICAP, Of 7 80 vs ; distance 1 mile; for all beaten horses, hacks excepted ; post entrance CONDITIONS. No person permitted to enter a horse for any of the above races unless a subscriber of one guinea to the club ; Hack Race excepted. Three horses to start in each race, or only half the advertised stakes will bo gi\ on. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles and Ilampden Stakes will close not later than 7pm on December 8, 1883. Acceptances will be received for the same races till 8 p m of December 22, on which date all general entries are to close. Protests to be immediately lodged with the secretary, and to be accompanied with 1 sov, the same to be forfeited if objection be considered frivilous. All disputes, claims, and objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, or the majority of them, and their decision shall be final. All entries, containing amount of qualification and entrance, name and age of horse, pedigree, and performance, with colors of riders, to be addressed to the “ Secretary, Hampden Racing Club.” No entry received except on these conditions.
