[Common icatkd.] September IT. A meeting of the Waipawa County Hospital Committee was held in the Town Hall this afternoon at 3 30 p ro. Present Colonel Hettvick (in the chair). Messrs A. Dillon, W. C. Smi’.; y J. Maekersey, and Rev. R. Fraser. * Resolved that tenders be called fsr supplying groceries, meat, and 1 re CL to the hospital for the year 1880-81. The secretary was requested to hand Mr A. Me Hardy's letter, dated 17th August, to the‘Hon. H. R. Russ 11. with a request that he communicate with Mr Buchanan relative to a sutn of £SO expected from that gentleman _to the hospital funds. _ Toe secretary was instructed to. issue printed subscription lists to thevarious woolsheds, sawmills, hotels, and other likely places in the County, with a view of obtaining subscriptions from the men employed in those places. Resolved that the new outbuildings and the furniture and effects in the hospital, be insured for a further sum of £4OO. Resolved that the auditors' fees bo £1 Is each per annum. Resolved that the doctor's salary bo £IOO per annum, and that of ’ tho master and matron £llO per annum. The secretary was instructed to call for tenders for cutting and removing this season’s grast. It was decided that all future meetings bo held at the hospital.
