Cambridge Pony Club Makes Plans For Season

Plans for the year ahead were discussed at a meeting of the executive of the Cam-bridge Pony Club held recently. It was decided to send two delegates to the General Conference of the New Zealand Pony Club Association, to be held at Hawke's Bay during October. The meeting also agreed to make a drive for both seniors and junior^ Arrangements were made for a combined picnic rally in. Mr J. Butler's paddock at Karapiro tomorrow. Proceedings will commence at 11.30 a.m. with a lineup of all junior members and associate members, also as many juniors who wish to join the club or any of its branches. It is ho/ped that there will also be a large attendance of parents and friends. On Wednesday, August 31, the club will hold a mock hunt on Mr Hunt's farm} at Fencourt. This will be for all members and branch members, as well as any members of other clubs w*o wnM like to attend. At the Point-to-Point races on Mr A. J. Swayne's farm tomorrow week, several events and game". be staged, at the invitation of the Waikato Hunt.
