Scotty Beckett & Jane Powell Teamed Again
Scotty Beckett, who scored in one of Hollywood's top teen-age teams along with Jane Powell in "A Date with Judy", returns to Metro Goldwyn Mayer for another role opposite the singing star, this time in "Nancy Goes to Rio." In teaming the pair for a second time, M.G.M. is heeding the requests of hundreds of fan letters which poured into the studio following the release of "A Date with Judy." The letters stated that while the writers, as teenagers, were generally opposed to seeing themselves depicted on the screen, Jane and Scotty had their blessings.
