MOTOR ACCIDENT AT HORAHORA

On Wednesday afternoon a car driven by Mr J. Ritchie, of Horahora, failed to negotiate a corner on Stokes Road and rolled down a steep bank. One occupant was able to attract a passing truck whose driver rendered assistance in freeing the other two.

Dr. L. F. Johnson was soon on the scene following by the ambulance. All three members of the Ritchie family were taken to the Waikato Hospital, Mrs Ritchie being apparently the most seriously injured. Mr Ritchie and his son suffered minor injuries and shock. The car was badly damaged.
