A Record Sale of Health Stamps
As anticipated there was a record sale of Health Stamps in Cambridge when th# campaign opened on Wednesday. The total sales for the day were £177, compared with £Bl last year. The Postmaster, Mr/Colin Wood, stated yesterdayythat the schools contributed yell, both in Cambridge and thfe surounding districts. Sale/were good again yestftrday, tjrfe total being in the vicinity o/£SO. The Red] Crofe ladies had intended holding a stall in front of the Pos^Office on Wednesday, but owing to the weather this was postponed until today. The Cambridge Electric Power Board at its meeting on Wednesday night decided to purchase £lO worth of Healths Stamps.
