Rotary President's Wife To Visit Cambridge
Mr S. Kendrick Guernsey, president of Rotary, International, Wnd his wife, will be visiting Cambridge next Sunday morning on their way back from Rotorua. They will be the guests of the Cambridge Rotary Club to morning tea at the residence of the President, MiFrank T. Ray and Mrs Ray. Mrs Guernsey is accompanying the recently elected International President on his tour of Rotary Districts in Australia and New Zealand. It is assured that Mrs Guernsey will receive further evidence of New Zealand’s interest in-her at the hands of the Cambridge ladies present on Sunday morning She is a real homely lady and is never more happy than with her daughters at their barbecue hut m the rear of their home in Jacksonville, Florida. No doubt Mrs Guernsey and her husband will have been given much concern at the news this week of cyclonic storms in Florida. As far as is known Jacksonville escaped the severity of the storms. Mrs Guernsey is an active member of a garden club and has a particular flair for flower arrangement. Shd is also the sponsor of a . Little Theatre Group, but is mot an actress. Mrs Guernsey neither smokes nor indulges in alcoholic liquor. Her favourite flower is a yellow rose and her favourite colour is a soft grey-green.
