MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER RE BY-LAW NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Matamata County Council, held on the 11th' clay of September,' 1947, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1947, at 11 a.m. at the Council Chambers, Tirau. RESOLUTION In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by "The Counties Act, 1920," "The Public Works Act, 1928," "The Motor Vehicles Act, 1924," and of every other power it in this behalf enabling, the Council of the County of Matamata doth hereby make and ordain the Bylaw following:— - (Here follows.the By-law) The object and purport of the Bylaw is to provide for the restriction of speed and weight of vehicles on certain bridges in the County and fixing penalties for breach of the Bylaw. . A full copy of the By-law is deposited at the office of the Council, Tirau, and may be inspected by the public during office hours until the 16th day of October, 1947.
