“SARATOGA TRUNK” IS GOOD COOPER-BERGMAN PARTNERS Yes, Edna Ferber’s “Saratoga Trunk” in film form is great entertainment and it is the feature of the programmes at the .Tudor Theatre, to-morrow (Saturday) and again on Monday night. The principal players are two favouries in Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman. This is a story of violent love and who better to act it than Cooper and Bergman’ There is plenty of action in this tale of the girl who had a family score to settle; who wanted a rich and respectable husband and of rival railroad companies. The story of the fighting Texan. ' Gary and Ingrid give magnificent presentations and you should make a point of seeing this entertainment.
There will be a special children’s matinee to-morrow at 1.30. See the picture advertisement. Coming to the Theatre for Tuesday and Wednesday is a crime thriller with comedy associated-“ Pink String and Sealing Wax.” The principal players are Mervyn Johns and Googie Withers.
