Mr Perry Asked to Address Business People

OF PERSONAL INTEREST

Mr W. Norman Perry, President of the Federated of N.Z., is to be invited by the Chamber of Commerce to address the business people of Cambridge, for it is felt that Mr Perry, in his tour of Great Britain and the Continent, will have seen and heard much that will be of great interest to the business people of this community. More than that it is felt that it is a great honour to Mr Perry to be chosen as the leader of the primary producers of this country and that some light from his official mantle will fall on Cambridge as the result of his selection for this most responsible position.

The meeting decided to place on record appreciation of the services of Mr Bakfex*’ who had been a keen and efficient worker for sport during the war years.
