J OUTWARD BUS ROUTE CLAIMED TO BE DANGEROUS t Claiming that the existing outward bus route is so torturous that it offers danger / to travellers, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce has, recently 'circulated a petition among the people. Last night the six copies of the petition containing about 300 signatures, were received by the executive and it was decided they be forwarded to the Borough Council. The petitions prays that in view of the “dangerous nature of■ the existing outward route, it be altered so that in j. future outgoing buses' would travel ' directly along Victoria Street and with a stop at or near the Bank of New South Wales.” It was considered by the executive that the signed petition represented a true cross-section of the people and of the users of the buses.
