RIFLE SHOOTING
MINIATURE RANGE SPECIAL SHOOT RESULTS On Wednesday night last a special shoot was held at Mr A. Webster’s range, Pukekura, when nine members entered for the championship shoot held for both the North and South Island miniature rifle range clubs. Mr. C. Benton competed for an “A’-' grade marksmen’s badge. D. Harrison, P. Whittaker, F. Bird. G. Boot, A. Webster, G. Solly, W. Ferrott, competed for “C” grade markmen’s badges and the team representing Cambridge consisted of J. Harrison; F. Bird, W, Ferrott and G. Solly. The two scrutineers for the evening were Messrs A. Bluck and B. Bowers. * The final results of this competition will not be known immediately as all targets will be marked in Wellington. The shooting in general being good although conditions could have been better.
