Mrs Mahoney, of Duke Street, has left on a visit to Helensville, for one month. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED. The engagement is* announced between Irene Constance, eldest daughter of Mrs I).- E. Bruce, and' the late Mr A. M. A. Bruce, of Taotaoroa, Cambridge, and Joseph Henry Perfect (recently returned Middle East), eldest son of Mrs W. J. Gleeson, and the late Mr W. F. Perfect, of Waiatahi, Opotiki, Bay of Plenty.
