OBITUARY

MR. ALEXANDER MUNRO TAOTAOROA RESIDENT The death occurred at Taotaoroa on Monday, of Mr Alexander Munro, uncle of Mrs E. Waugh. The late Mr Munro was born at Paisley, Scotland, 87 years ago, and followed the trade of ship’s carpenter, in the merchant navy for 44 years. At the age of 35 he married, iyid about 20 years ago, he and the* late Mrs Munro came to New Zealand. They lived for some time at Auckland, and then went to Sydney, and it was while living there that Mrs Munro passed away. There were no children, of the marriage. Mr Munro then returned to New Zealand, und took up residence with his niece, at Taotaoroa. This was about 18 years ago. 1 The late Mr Munro had enjoyed fairly good health un,til three months ago and finally passed away on Monday.
