CAMBRIDGE CO-OP. DAIRY COY. TO THE SHAREHOLDERS, It is my pleasure to inform you that I am offering myself as a Candidate for the Board of Directors. Coming from Scotland 34 years ago, I have been a supplier of the Company ever since, having seen it through its most trying times, and am still a loyal supporter of it. 1 have always taken a keen interest in anything relating to dairying and agriculture, and have attended numerous dairy conferences in the capacity of delegate of various organisations. Over a period of years I have held a considerable number of. executive positions among them being: President of N.Z. Clydesdale Horse Society for two years and vice-president for one year; President N.Z. Ayrshire Breeders, for three terms, and also President of South Auckland branch of the Ayrshire Breeders for six years; President of the Combined Breeders’ and Auctioneers’ Association for five years; Chairman of the Fencourt Drainage Board for seven years; Vice-President of the Waikato Central A. and P. Association for a number of years, and Councillor of the Royal A. and P. Society of New Zealand. I therefore claim to have a wide experience in all matters pertaining to the dairying industry, and can assure the Shareholders that the advancement of dairying is my greatest aim. If elected I will endeavour to whole-heartedly support the Chairman, and a Progressive Policy that will give the suppliers confidence in the Company’s future. W. C. WALLACE. (938)
