Mrs F. Gunn, of Cambridge, has just recently received two letter cards from her son, Pte. Laurence (Dick) Buckingham. He was previously in Italy, Campo 103/C. The cards were posted from Stalag XIA, a transit camp in Germany. With .Pte. Buckingham is Pte. Christie Boyce, son of Mrs Boyce, of Duke Street.

Private Buckingham writes that both are fit and well. In The Navy

Mr and Mrs Edgar James have just received advice that their son, Cadet lan James, who, with 39 other New Zealanders, has been training at a naval school in London, have now finished their training course, and have been posted to three ships. Cadet James and 13 others have been posted to a cruiser, H.M.S. London.
