CRICKET
UNITED v. KARAPIRO
DETAILS OF RESULTS
As briefly reported in last Mcn,day’s issue a most interesting and exciting game of cricket was witnessed at Karapiro during the weekend between Karapiro and the United Athletic Club’s eleven. Ihe last meeting of these two teams re-, suited in quite an easy win for Karapiro, but the recent game was closely contested and eventually won by United. Playing right up to time Karapiro looked like holding cut, but a good catch by P. Gillespie decided the issue. Greatly appreciated was the hospitality of the Karapiro ladies m providing luncheon and afternoon tea.
