Company events will include bomb-throwing —two teams of four men being provided by each company in the battalion area. There will also be a tug-of-war competition, relay race, and an alarm race. A marching competition will be’ open to platoons of not less than 24 men, and there will be another marching event open to V. and the W.W.S.A. The W. will also be in charge of catering arrangements. Horse events will include > a draught horse derby, an alarm race, and a horse event for guardsmen. Hunters will be catered for by a maiden event, open, ladies, and consolation.
