THE CAMBRIDGE SALE FAT CATTLE IN DEMAND Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report on their usual tri-weekly sale* s held at Cambridge on Monday: Cattle: There was a good yarding of all classes of cattle and prices were well up to recent markets. Fat cattle met exceptionally keen bidding and the store cattle prices were well up to vendors’ expectations. $ Prime fat Shorthorn heifers £9 10/- to £11; light fat Shorthorn heifers £7 15/- to £8 10/-; medium heavy fat cows £8 15/- to £9 15/-; heavy Jersey cows £5 17/6 to £6 15/-; lighter Jersey cows £5 to £|s 12/6; heavy boners £4 to £4 12/6; medium boners £3 2/6 to £3 18/-; lighter boners £2 1/- to £2 17/6; empty Jersey sound heifers £4 4/to £4 9/-; forward conditioned P.A* 3-year steers £8 14/- to £9 4/-; good P.A. heifers £5 16/- to £7 5/-; mixed quality 24-year Shorthorn steers £6 17/- to £7 7/-; medium quality yearling Jersey heifers £4 7/6.

Pigs: A small yarding of fat pigs came forward with a good yarding of store and weaner pigs and breeding sows.
