PEACE CUP HELD
PAEROA NARROWLY DEFEATED WAIHI RETAINS TROPHY The Waihi senior representatives retained the Peace Cup against Paeroa’s challenge on Saturday by the narrow margin of three points to none. As a result of rain which fell during the first spell the ground was heavy and the ball greasy. Waihi’s score, a try by' Wills, was registered in the first spell.
