Overseas Appeals—A sitting of the No. 3 Armed Forces Appeal Board is being held in Cambridge today.

Calling of Married Men. —In a case where two single men on a farm had been granted sine die adjournments in their appeals, one at least is likely to be required before the n/arried men class is stated Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., at a recent sitting of .the Armed Forces Appeal Board.

Cowsheds Near Road. —Under the regulations no cowshed or yard may be erected within two chains of a roadway. The matter was mentioned at the quarterly meeting of the Northern King Country Sub-Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union, when an Otorohanga remit was moved by Mr V. W.
