PERSONAL
Mr H. Petersen, who has been on the staff of The Waikato Independent- for ’ the past 14 years, was farewelled on Monday prior to his departure to join the Fourth Reinforcements. He was presented with a cheque from Messrs C, W. Vennell & Co. Ltd., and a fountain pen from the ’staff. '
