FINAL NIGHT TOMORROW VISITORS FROM ONEHUNGA The Cambridge Orphans’ Club will conclude its 1940 season with a special final evenijig in the Arawa Lodge Hall tomorrow night. An excellent programme, is being arranged, and visitors will be present from the Onehunga Club, led by the president, Mr G. McKendrick. Colonel A. E. Loach, of Christchurch, the honorary secretary of the Association of Kindred Savage and Orphans’ Clubs, who has been touring the South Auckland district, has found it possible to .visit Cambridge again tomorrow night, before returning South. The president of the Cambridge Club, Bro. G. E. Haydon, .will ' occupy ' the* chair. A party from Cambridge attended the Ladies’ Night "of the Papakura Orphans’ Club on. Wednesday evening, being hospitably entertained. Those who made the trip were Mr, and Mrs G. E. Haydon, lM:r and Mrs M. Richardson, Mr and Mrs M. Johnson, and Mr W. A. Fisher.
