OBITUARY

MRS HARRY RHODES iMEMBER OF OLD CAMBRIDGE FAMILY The death has occurred after a long period of failing health, of Mrs ; Jessie Rhodes, wjfe of Mr Harry' Rhodes, of Paterangi; aged 70 years. The.late Mrs Rhodes '.was the eldestvcteughter of -the Hon. John Fisher, a pioneer settler'of the Pukerimu district. She married to Mr Rhodes 42 years ago, and took up Paterangi. She was keenly*interested in the affairs of the Presbyterian Church, and was of the Presbyter? ian Women's Missionary Union for 25 years, and was" interested in the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. Mrs Rhodes is survived by her husband and one son, Mr S. Rhodes, and one daughter, Miss N. Rhodes, of Paterangi. Messrs R. D., J. W., W. A., and A. M. Fisher are brothers and Mrs T. Robinson and Mrs G. M. Watt are sisters.
