PATRIOTIC APPEAL SPECIAL PROVISION MADE A novel appeal to the people of Christchurch for contributions to tlje first patriotic funds appeal is to he made shortly, when, with the permission of the Christchurch City Council, a monster ‘‘money box” will be placed in the Square to receive contributions (says the StarSun).
