JUVENILE ITINERANT

ALiVRM CLOCK FOR SALE VISIT TO CAMBRIDGE HOME - - Shortly after 7 o’clock this morning, there was a ring at the front door of a local resident’s house, and on investigating, a smsll boy with a sharp voice asked: “Do you want to buy this?” He held out an alarm clock with a stained dial which appeared to have seen many days on the kitchen mantelpiece. The boy, who was only five or six years old, was told to clear out as the family was having breakfast. “Oh, haven’t you had breakfast yet?” said the juvenile itinerant, who had a quick retort for everything that was said. Eventually the boy was sent on his way, and it is not known whether he endeavoured to sell his wares anywhere else.
