Patriotic Funds to Benefit.—As a result of the exceptionally large attendance at the exhibition tennis match played by the Australian team at the Bledisloe Hall on Monday, patriotic funds will benefit by a substantial amount. Gross takings were £173 9/6. After deducting expenses the Waikato Lawn. Tennis Association will hand over the total proceeds. All the reserved seats were booked by Monday morning, and it was not long before only standing room was available in the hall.
