THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB MATCH WITH BARDOWIE In an enjoyable golf match played this week, members of the Cambridge Ladies' Club gained a comfortable win over Bardowie ladies. Results were as follows, Cambridge ladies mentioned first: Mrs I). Gorrie won from Mrs R. Ferguson, 4 and 3; Miss G. West won from Miss V. Appleby, 5 and 4; Mrs H. Crowther and Mrs W. White, all square; Mrs L. Chamberlain won from Mrs J. Linsley, 1 up; Mrs A. L. Allen won from Miss K. Harvey, 3 and 2; Mrs A. A. Lockett won from tMrs W. Laurent, 1 up; Miss F. Clark won from Miss J. Fisher, 5 and 4; Miss E. Burns won from Mrs E. J. White, 1 up-; Miss G. L. Brann won from Mrs W. Yardley, 3 and 2; Miss A. Nicholson won from Mrs C. Wallace, 1 up; Mrs W. H. Cubis lost to Mrs E. L. Hardy, 3 and 2; Mrs R. A. Hughes won. from Mrs A. Paton, 5 and 4. COMPETITION RESULTS The August bogey match played by members of the Cambridge Ladies' Golf Club resulted as follows: Senior, Miss E. Robinson, 3 down. Junior, Mrs A. H. Nicoll, all square. The Nolan trophy was won by Miss E. Robinson, 6 down. In a match for the L.G.U. silver button, Miss J. Thompson and Miss E. Robinson tied with a score of three down. Miss Thompson 1 won on the count back. DRAW FOR WEDNESDAY The first round of an eclectic competition for Mrs K. Browne's and Miss J. SOUTH AUCKLAND LADIES Miss Susan Banks was the only member of the Cambridge Ladies' Golf Club to compete in the South Auckland ladies' championship at St. Andrew's this week. In the first bogey match, Miss Banks shared first place with Mrs C. F. O'Connor, both being one down.
