CAR OVERTURNS

PARTY OF TOURING BOWLERS MISHAP IN NORTH While proceeding by car througl the Waipoua Forest, near Dargavilh oil Friday three members of tin South Auckland bowling party me with a mishap. They were Mr J. W Fisher, of Cambridge, and Mr and Mrs A. H. Michell, of Hamilton. Mr Fisher was driving and when a van in front skidded while he was overtaking it, there was no alternative but to leave the road. The car was travelling very slowly, but overturned on a steep incline. The occupants received a severe shaking, but were otherwise unhurt. The car was slightly damaged. The touring party returned to the Waikato during the week-end.
