THE CAMBRIDGE SALE GOOD PRICES MAINTAINED Messrs Dalgety and Company Ltd. report having held their tri-weekly sale at Cambridge yesterday, when a small yarding of all classes of stock met with a spirited sale. Prices for all lots offered were good and practically a total clearance was made under the hammer. The advertised line., of sound-mouth breeding ewes sold well and realised 22/1. Quotations:

Sheep: Fresh conditioned medium size shorn S.D. wether lambs 17/6; ditto, S.D. ewe lambs 18/2; ditto, Romney ewe lambs 19/5; fat lambs (heavy) 26/6; other fat lambs 22/1; s.m. breeding ewes 22/1; light conditioned ewes (sound mouth) 16/and 16/3; light fat ewes 16/-; Southdown rams 4gns. Cattle: Heavy prime barren Jersey heifers £6; fat Jersey cows, medium weights, £4, £4 7/-, £4 9/-; light ditto £3 6/-, £3 10/- and £3 18/-; boner cows 30/- to £3 4/- according to weight, etc.; springing dairy heifers £5 7/6 to £7; springing dairy cows £5 10/ -to £6 15/-.

Pigs: A small yarding of fat pigs came forward. Good baconers and heavy porker pigs were yarded in small numbers, while store pigs were yarded in average numbers. Competition throughout the sale was keen on all classes of pigs, the result being that out of the total yarding only one pen was passed. Porker pigs and light baconers sold at late rates. Good slips were very much in demand, Weaners, though yarded in fair numbers, met with a ready dispersal.'. Quotations:
