FAREWELL EVENING

BAPTIST CHURCH FUNCTION MR E. KERR HONOURED A very happy function took place at the Baptist Church on Monday night, the occasion being to bid farewell to Mr E. Kerr, who is entering the Bible TCdining Institute next month. The evening was spent in games, and several musical items were enjoyed by ail. After supper, Mr Kerr was presented with a book’ as a token of the respect in which he was held. Mr Kerr suitably replied. Opportunity was also taken at this gathering to say farewell to Mr Rex Goldsmith, who has been relieving at the Church for the past five weeks.
