B*3 I Opening of The Rugby Season Last evening we had as our guest for a quick one, no less a personage than Aubrey the Artist (inset)— the perpetrator of these crazy drawings of ours. Now, when we reached the second bottle, Ru, with characteristic cunning, suggested that Aubrey (inset) should draw an ad. dealing with the opening of the Rugby Season. Aubrey's reaction was so spontaneous that we felt certain the advertisement would be, in colloquial terms, a Dinny Hazer. Judge of our dumbfounded amazement when Aubrey (inset) slung the above picture on our desk this morning and said "There's your bally Rugby advertisement." Then he laughed and he laughed and he laughed. We subsequently learned that the last big match at Twickenham cost Aubrey (inset) a dozen bottles of the one and only Tiger's Milk (advt.). As a result thereof, Aubrey (inset) is somewhat touchy about football. Now, the moral of this story is that if there is the slighest element of uncertainty, make your bets in Home-brew—then you'll have nothing to lose.
