CONDITIONS STILL UNSETTLED • AN ABSENCE OF SUNSHINE While many parts of the province have experienced heavy rains and floods this week, the Cambridge district has been fortunate in escaping torrential downpours. However, the weather conditions have been anything but pleasant, with intermittent showers and cold southerly winds. Very litt.e has been seen of the sun and altogether the past fortnight has been bleak and unfavourable to sport. • The rainfall for the past seven days has been I.4Sin. making the total for the month 3.31 in.
