BUTTER MARKET
DEMAND STILL SLOW NEW ZEALAND AT 75/-. The butter market in London remains slow, and, although the price of New Zealand has been fairly steady over the week, Danish has fallen sharply. It is now selling at 114/- per cwt, a drop of 6/-. The market for Danish has been adversely affected by smaller buying by Germany. -During the week Now Zealand butter, which is now selling at 75/-, has fallen only 6d per cwt, while Australian is now worth 73/- to 74/-;, a fall of 1/-.
