H. Rowe, presided. , Principal consideration centred around the dates for the staging off the centre tourney. Christmas, the NewYear, and the Easter week-end were among the times suggested, but after lengthy discussion January 2S, 29 and 30 were the dates decided upon. Tie location was fixed at Hamilton. * ;; A touring party from the North Auckland Centre is to visit Soutli Auckland early next year and the executive's suggestion was that the visit" should extend from February 17 ta February 26. February 16 was sot aside as the* date' for the Hardley Shield tournament which is to be played at Te Arpha, while in March a tourney, on the knock-out principle for the centre's champion of champions title will' be played, the champion of each club taking part. ~ Other dates for club tournaments were allocated as follows: Te For, Labour Day; Frankton, November T; Claudelands, November 28; Te Arohfc (full rink tourney), January 1 and 2j Te Aroha (pairs), January. 3 and 4? Hamilton and Claudelands Clubs (combined tourney), January 1 and 2. The date of the Frankton pairs tourney was left in the hands of the president: with power to act after discussion with the club officials.
