MRS NOLAN’S TROPHY WON BY MISS BREWER After two bogey matches played on the Cambridge golf links for Mrs H. H. Nolan’s trophy, Miss Jean Brewer proved the winner, being one "down on bogey. In the first round Miss Brewer was 5 down and in the second match sho finished 4 up, making her one down on tho two rounds. Other good cards for the second round were: Mrs E. Westlake, 1 down; Mrs W. TE KOUTU It has been decided to hold an annual competition between unaffiliated Golf Clubs in the district. The trophy j will be a suitably, inscribed putter, which will be hold by the winning club for a period of one year, when it will bo again competed for. The’first Maungakawa Putter match will take place on Saturday next, on the To Ifoutu links, commencing at 12.45 p.m. sharp, with match play over IS holes. Next year the match will take place on tlie Fcncourt links, and during the following year on the Wairalcau links. The draw is as follows: Ladies: Miss J. Feisst (F) v. Mrs Mason (Te If); Mrs H.
