On Thursday afternoon another of the series of card parties in connection with the Domain Croquet Club was held at the residence of Mrs F. L. Tucker. Mrs Brindlc Avon the first prize for 1 500 ’ ’ and Mrs Rutter the consolation. Mrs MeDevitt won the prize for bridge, and Mrs Catran the consolation. Mrs Tucker was wearing a red and black striped frock. Others present were: Mrs A. Pearce (president), Mcsdames P. Rutter, Catran, 0.. Gone, MeDevitt, C. Boyce, A.
