The final meet of the Waikato Hunt was held at the Goodwood Corner on Saturday, when after a splendid day’s outing the huge field was entertained ax “Ngaheke,” the home of the Master, Mr Wynn Brown. Miss A. Brown received her guests in a smart frock of ceil blue crepe, assisted by her guest, Miss Madge Finlayson, of Whangarei, who was wearing a grey suit.

Another very charming party was ■given on Saturday night at “Dingley Doll” by Airs Gordon Vosper and Miss Noel in o Banks, in lion our of the brideelect, Aliss D. Neely. The large draw-ing-room was very artistically arranged with quantities of spring flowers, including Iceland poppies, daffodils, '■camellias, freezias and grape hyacinths. Progressive bridge was played, there being seven tables. Miss Joan Goupor won the first prize for the ladies, and Air Brian Harper for the men, and Aliss D. Neely won the hidden number. Airs Vosper received her guests in a pink and black flowered chiffon frock. Aliss Noeline Banks was wearing an ■applegreori lace frock with q pink sash. Aliss D. Neely was in a smart pink satin frock. Airs lan Fisher was in black satin; Airs C. AV.
